Moreover, they can be fitted with A-type or B-type air bearings. A-type air bearings are installed as standard and would provide just the right amount of lift for the load to float on the flooring. B-type air bearings are a wee bit more robust and will offer better lift on surfaces that are ideal for this form of load lifting. The B-type air bearing likewise presents a slightly higher lift than the A-type. This extra lift height of the air pallets can be taken advantage of should you have to lift a load clear off its base before moving it off to its destination.But, B-type air bearings do utilize a bit more compressed air than their A-type equivalent. A rear fitted air manifold includes air flow control valves for each air bearing, and as an On/Off ball value that ties to the air supply source.
